Laing O’Rourke entrusted us with providing a comprehensive logistics package for The Factory project, situated in Deansgate, Greater Manchester. Our services included preconstruction planning, full logistics plans, traffic management, waste management, site setup, welfare management, access control, permit management, induction management, delivery management, and site security with CCTV.

This project faced significant logistical challenges due to its high-profile nature, located adjacent to busy city center routes. Being a key element in local regeneration, it is close to bustling city centre transport infrastructure, including urban motorways, arterial routes, water crossings, and ‘live’ Network Rail lines. The congested and logistically challenging access routes necessitated careful planning and execution.

The Factory serves as a landmark project contributing to Greater Manchester's cultural and artistic landscape. As a high-tech innovation facility, it plays a crucial role in the region’s regeneration, providing a center for the arts with a focus on arts, leisure, and commercial activities.
