Project Description

Marylebone Square, London W1: Urban Renewal Unveiled: Kier Regional Building

Marylebone Square, situated on the former site of the Marylebone Farmers Market, emerges as a transformative mixed-use development in the heart of London, brought to life by Kier Regional Building. This 25,160m², nine-storey marvel addresses a vacant plot that remained untouched for over half a century, promising a new era for the Marylebone district.

Marylebone Square is a blend of sophistication and functionality, featuring 54 new-build homes and two levels of boutiques and restaurants. At its core is a breathtaking five-storey atrium, fostering a naturally ventilated space that allows air and sunlight to permeate the building.

The development includes a new home for the farmers market, emphasizing its commitment to community inclusivity. The addition of Marylebone Hall, a purpose-built space for wider community use, enriches the social fabric of the area.

The project, nestled in a logistically complex residential area, required adept traffic and delivery management. Kier Regional Building enlisted the support of Munnelly Support Services (MSS) to navigate these challenges and ensure the seamless execution of the development.

In collaboration with Kier, MSS provided a comprehensive logistics package, encompassing project logistics, waste management, security, and access control. Services also included the coordination of common user spaces, safety behavioural and induction programs, and stakeholder engagement with the local council, contractors, and the broader community.
