Nicknamed the ‘Walkie Talkie’ for its distinctive design, 20 Fenchurch Street stands tall at 160 meters, dominating the City of London skyline. With a cost exceeding £200 million and soaring 36 stories high, this skyscraper boasts a unique top-heavy form, creating over 63,800 m2 of floor space without increasing its footprint. The iconic ‘Sky Garden’ on the top floor, spanning over 2,780 m2, offers panoramic views of London, featuring an outdoor roof terrace, botanical gardens, and a restaurant.

Munnellys played a pivotal role in supporting Canary Wharf Contractors throughout this major project, contributing significantly to its successful delivery. Providing a crucial logistics package, we enhanced Canary Wharf Contractor’s reputation by ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and sustainability. Situated in a densely populated commercial area near the Plantation Place building, the skyscraper's construction required meticulous planning.

Our logistics team played a frontline role in public perception, addressing traffic management challenges to prevent delays and disruptions. A well-executed delivery management system coordinated traffic flow, and strategic positioning of Traffic Marshals was essential for project success. Prioritizing health and safety, our approach ensured minimal impact on the community and maintained the project's positive profile.
